Trash Free Bathroom: Deodorant
I have made a batch of deodorant every 6 months for almost 10 years.
It takes a minute or two to mix up and scoop into a beautiful glass jar.
I wear it daily.
I don’t stink.
I am not contributing to the growing landfills and swirling plastic island in the Pacific Ocean.
1/3 cup corn starch
1/3 cup baking soda
10 drops lavender essential oil (antibacterial)
10 drops tea tree essential oil (antifungal)
2 TBSP vitamin E oil
3 TBSP coconut oil
Mix to form a paste.
Scoop into a pretty, wide mouth jar.
Give it 24 hours.
Use your finger tips to apply it.
The oils cost a little bit in the beginning but they last f.o.r.e.ve.r.
Cheers to super duper easy and cheap deodorant.
Cheers to an almost trash free bathroom.
Cheers to pretty bathrooms and good smelling pits.
